How it Works

Once you receive your loved ones cremains, you may purchase the memorial pottery of your choice. Be sure to select the urgent production option if you need your pottery finished quickly. In the notes section of the checkout page please be sure to include your loved ones first and last name and any important dates you would like added to the bottom of your pottery.

You may either bring your cremains into the studio in person, or mail them in the appropriate postage required by California law. Please make sure your loved ones name and information are clearly labeled and included in the packaging. Find out more about shipping cremains here.

Ensure that you work with your funeral home or crematorium to ensure legal and ethical compliance with separating your loved ones cremains. They will help you file the necessary paperwork to do so. We only need one teaspoon of ashes for each memorial piece purchased. Please only send us the amount needed.

We may sift your loved ones ashes to ensure the best glaze formulation. Any cremains that are not used will be returned to you with your pottery.

You may either select the pick up in person option at check out or select the shipping option that works best for you.
